BIOGRAPHY

Marco Gorissen is a sound designer, audio post-production engineer, composer, and artist based in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

His work spans various media, including movie trailer sound libraries, audiovisual art exhibitions, short films, documentaries, animations, and advertising campaigns.
Drawing from his background in industrial music, Marco's sound design is characterized as high-octane, powerful and gripping. His compositions feature layered textures, while his audio post-production work focuses on subtle details, balance, and full immersion.

Marco contributes to the sound cues library of the music- and sound-collective The Solos, a leader in music and sound design in the world of trailers and campaigns.

He founded Goriss Audio as a studio for his sound design, composition, and post-production projects.
Goriss Audio provides custom sound design, (re-recording) mixing, and original music for film, trailers, and campaigns.

Marco graduated from Sound Education Nederland in 2021 and AV Sound Education in 2025.
